Queensland Cowboys National Rugby League Team |

| The
North Queensland Cowboys compete in Australasia's top
level rugby league competition, the National Rugby League
premiership. The club is based in Townsville, Queensland
and their home games are played at Dairy Farmers Stadium.
The
North Queensland Cowboys National Rugby League Team
was established in 1994 and were admitted to the Australian
Rugby League competition in 1995. The club has come
a long way in its short history and have never won a
premiership, however they did finish as runners-up in
2005.

Cowboys
hold open training sessions throughout the season at
Dairy Farmers Stadium. This normally happens on the
afternoon prior to a scheduled home game. For further

Cowboys
merchandise is available from the merchandise store
at the Cowboys Leagues Club, online at the Cowboys website
or at one of the merchandise outlets available at Dairy
Farmers Stadium on a game day. |

Public
Transport
It is encouraged that Cowboys fans take advantage of
public transport or you can park your car for free at
Willows Shopping Centre and catch the shuttle bus to
and from Dairy Farmers Stadium for a very small fee.
Buses depart from the Kern Brothers Drive entry of the
Willows Car Park every 15 minutes from gates opening
time until the commencement of the main game and resume
at the conclusion of the match from the bus interchange
at the Northern car park.
Sunbus
operates services to every home game from the Cowboys
Leagues Club, City Mall, Jupiters, Strand, Bowen Rd
and most areas of the City. For game by game times and
details visit Sunbus Townsville. All buses will drop
off and pick up from the bus interchange at the Northern
car park of Dairy Farmers Stadium.
Townsville
Taxi operate its service from the taxi rank and drop
off zone is located in the bus interchange at the Northern
car park of Dairy Farmers Stadium.
Stadium
Car Parking
Due to concerns about traffic safety and repeated complaints
from residents, the council has upgraded parking control
around Dairy Farmers Stadium. Make sure you take note
of any signs to see where you can and can't park.
Season
car passes may be available for the Eastern & Northern
Car Parks of Dairy Farmers Stadium, but get in quick
as it does fill up quick. Enquiries can be made to Tickets
Online.
For
a small fee you can park at the Brothers Leagues Club
via Golf Links Drive. This is on a game by game basis.

Dairy
Farmers Stadium
is the home ground of the North Queensland Cowboys NRL
Team and is one of the best equipped sporting and entertainment
complexes in Australia in the under 30,000 capacity
category, catering for all spectator, sponsor, player
and performer needs. The venue has the capacity to accommodate
approximately 26,500, has onsite car parking and is
serviced by public transport.
In
1994 The Willows Sports Complex, which comprises of
Dairy Farmers Stadium was opened. It is situated on
16.83 hectares, formally the Willows Paceway, and is
centrally located at Golf Links Drive, Kirwan.
The
venue is owned and operated by the Major Sports Facilities
Authority. Any enquires relating to venue matters should
be directed to the Venue Manager.
Please abide by all policies and regulations to make
sure your experience at Dairy Farmers Stadium is a positive
for all. Stadium management is committed to providing
a safe and enjoyable experience for all and will take
serious action to those who breach regulations or create
an unpleasant atmosphere for other patrons.

Dairy Farmers Stadium is a smoke free venue. If
you wish to smoke you must obtain a pass-out to
exit the venue and return. Spectators will be required
to keep their ticket with them at all times and
will be issued a pass out voucher on exit from the
stadium. Exits are available at all gate entrances.

| • No
food or drink will be permitted to leave the venue. |
| • Alcohol
consumption is restricted to within the boundary
fence and under no circumstances will alcohol be
permitted to leave the venue. |
| • Please
note that both the venue and catering company actively
practice the responsible service of alcohol and
will take action against patrons who breach regulations.

| • Non
alcohol areas are available in Bays 19 and 20 of
the northern grandstand. A designated non-alcohol
area is also available in the South/West corner
of the general admission grassed area. |

The
Following items are not allowed into stadium: Weapons,
Fireworks & Flares, Hard Edge Eskies, Flags
displaying political or offensive messages, Fold
up chairs, Commercial Food (eg. KFC, Pizza), prams
and strollers (Prams brought into the venue can
be "cloaked" at the gate at which the
person gained entry and will be available for collection
on exit of the venue), objects that can be used
as missiles. |
